Titus Pens iDoodle '15

5:10 PM

I can doodle, I am an Industrial Designer and I admit it, I don't know how to draw. I always do reverse engineering when it comes with my project, it's easier for me to have a 3D copy of it whenever I draw something.

Las December 17, 2015, I have witnessed over a five hundred talented artists who joined the yearly Titus Pens iDoodle competition. This year's 3rd competition was help in Mall of Asia, Music Hall Grounds.

"Titus Pens iDoodle battle of the Champion" is a grand on-the spot ball pen art competition  On this year's 3rd competition they had an assembly of 75 regional champions from Bacolod, Cebu, Manila, Dagupan, Pampanga, Iloilo, Davao, Bicol, Batangas, Cagayan de Oro, Bulucan, Caviter, Baguio, La Union and Dumaguete. This year long competiions helped spread the word of "Visit the Philippines Year 2015" in line with the Department of Tourism's campaign "It's More fun in the Philippines" to attract both domestic and international visitors.

Coinciding with the “Battle of the Champions” is “Titus iDoodle Pasko sa ‘Pinas On-theSpot Ballpen Art Contest” I wonder how their creative juices run for 3 hours straight. This competition is open to participants aged 10-25 years old, who made a P100purchase of Titus Pens products at any National Bookstore branch or SM Supplies Station. Interested doodlers can register from 10 am-12 noon during the event. Up for grabs are gift packs and cash prizes up to P10,000.

As I roam around the perimeter, I have seen and rooted for some artist who has some extra ordinary talent when it comes to drawing. I mean, it's just pens, how can it look alive?

This event is not just all about watching this rising artist draw under one roof, but the Titus Pens iDoodle also held workshops under, Comics, food, travel and of course fashion - along with this they have invited known artist and that can share their ideas on the specific fields. Also while the competition is going, they have bands, singers, dancers performing right on the stage.

And so at the end of the event the Titus Pens management handed me over this huge pen!! We are actually almost on the same height. Inside this, I got a 4 set of pens and I can't wait to use it. I might become a PRO in drawing with it!
